Willow Creek Waterdogs

Hello Friends!

I, Pamela Headon, would like to officially introduce the launching of Willow Creek Waterdogs. As many of you may already know, Bayport Waterdogs has moved and come across a few changes in the past few years. We have moved to a bigger, better facility offering much more room for the dogs to run and play. We are located on a 5-acre property just around the corner from our previous property. This location has new, spacious, kennel runs lined with gravel, a beautiful puppy whelping nursery, and privacy so the dogs may make all the noise that they desire. We also now offer boarding for any dog that was born through us as well as high quality, organic dog food for sale. We have stepped things up a level, to say the least! 

So, along with all the changes in the physical kennel, we have decided to accompany it with a name change. Bayport Waterdogs is now officially Willow Creek Waterdogs, suiting the beautiful property that we are now living on. We still carry the longstanding experience with both Portuguese Waterdogs and Barbet, as I, the founder, am still the owner, manager, employee, custodian, groomer... you get the idea. The experience and love for my business remains, and now I can love the name too!

Lincoln and the Raindrops

My daughter and I were looking around on YouTube the other day and came across this video of Lincoln, a puppy I sold about a year ago. We asked his family if we could share some of these videos, they are just too cute.

First Steps

Zoey's puppies are 15 days old and starting to move around! They are taking their first few steps and their eyes are starting to open. We can't believe how big these beautiful Irish marked puppies are!

Zoey is mothering her puppies in an award-winning style. She keeps them clean, well fed, and at the perfect temperature.

Their noses are turning colours, their ears are beginning to open and they are sleeping a little bit less.

Families are getting to be very excited for their new babies in 6 more weeks. We are excited to see these puppies grow and their eyes and ears fully open in the next week or so!

Oh, a day in the life of raising puppies. 



Still here!

Wow! It has been a long time since my last post on this blog. I do apologize for any of you who have been checking in and seeing nothing new. Things have been busy with Christmas, New Years, family returning and all kinds of things. Busy is good though, right?

I would like to take this opportunity to announce the upcoming litter of Zoe and Bentley who we are expecting to arrive on May 16, 2012!

I took Zoey in for an ultrasound a couple of days ago and there are definitely puppies there growing and looking good! We are excited about the expected arrivals and for what is to come!

Visitors.

Lately, we have had a couple visitors stop in to visit and love on the puppies. This is my little niece; she can't help but cuddle with the puppies as long as she is here. Adorable.

Sorry about the break in updates. Between vacations, summer activities, and a new litter of puppies, keeping up with the blog seems to have fallen to the wayside. We currently have a litter of Portuguese Puppies that are 5-weeks old. Update

It has proven to be more than a challenge to capture photos of puppies that move faster than we do. We have managed to steal a few pictures after wearing them right out. These puppies seem to be full of endless energy. You'd think that after twelve years of breeding Portuguese Waterdogs, we would get the idea. I guess not, eh?

Zoe's Litter Update

Hey all! 

Here are some new pictures of Zoe's litter. In just a few short weeks they will be going home to their new families! We're going to miss this group of little ones when they go, but we are excited to see the faces of happy families taking their newest member of the family home!
